Location
Our test centre is conveniently located in the heart of the metropolitan area, Oakville, Ontario, near local highways and major streets with ample FREE parking.
It is discretely located in a professional business building that gives the test takers a feeling of confidence and comfort.
Capacity
Our current test centre has approx. 15 individually isolated test units where each test taker can independently focus on the test they are taking.
Due to high test taker demand we are planning on expanding our test centre to accommodate many more test takers.

I. COMPUTER DELIVERED (CD) TESTS
A new way to experience tests
Everyone loves to make choices suitable to their needs and preferences. Now, with computer-delivered training, you will take tests exactly the same way, by typing your answers on the computer. However, you will be given a paper for rough work.
What is computer-delivered testing?
It’s exactly the same test content and structure, yet you’ll take it sitting in a modern computer lab using the latest technology and with technical staff on hand to help. Many test takers have told us they would like to try it, and we are more than happy to offer computer-delivered testing at our testing centre.
Why might YOU choose a computer-delivered test?
You Prefer Typing Rather Than Writing
- You are a person who is more comfortable typing than writing? Or, you may think your handwriting is hard to read? Apparently, using a computer could be the answer to these questions. By opting for the computer-delivered test, you get an option to go back and edit your answers easily during the test whereas you cannot get this option with the paper-based test choice.
You Can Still Plan Your Answers On Paper
- Many of our test-takers said they liked being able to plan their test on paper. You can still do this with computer-delivered testing.
Same Standards, More Venues.
- It’s the same test trusted for its fairness and integrity all over the world. Now it’s available in our test centre.
Same Content, Greater Flexibility.
- It covers the same content, and now you have more dates to choose from. You can pick the day of the week that fits best with your schedule.
Same Preparation, Easier Booking Process.
- You can still prepare for your test using your favourite app and online learning materials or at your preferred training centre. Now simply book with our new registration system.
Same Speaking Test, More Convenience.
- The Speaking test can be either face-to-face in a private room or on the computer (VCS) with a trained and qualified Examiner. It is the most effective way of assessing speaking skills, and you can get to choose the day online when you are ready to take your speaking test.
Same Results Format, Faster Results.
- Your results are still delivered in the same easy-to-understand Test Report Form, and now you can view them online in 5-7 days. Your Test Report Form is sent to you by post or you can pick it up from our testing centre office between 3 pm to 5 pm after your results are released.
II. VIDEO-CALL SPEAKING (VCS) TEST
VCS gives you a virtual means to connect from our testing centre with your examiner at a remote location on an automated screen who engages with you in real-time.
You’ll be given questions on the screen with a displayed time limit. Do not worry about the modus operandi (method of taking your test). Before leaving you in the testing room virtually with the examiner, an invigilator will assist you and will ensure the smooth functioning of your headphones and computer.
What are the advantages of the Speaking Test via VCS at the Testing Centre?
• You get flexibility in your test schedule.
• Increased choices in test slots for the test.

III. SPECIAL NEEDS AND ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOUR TEST

The term “accommodation” can be used to describe an alteration of the environment, curriculum format, or equipment that allows an individual with a disability to gain access to content and/or complete assigned tasks. This allows students with disabilities to pursue a regular course of study. Accessibility can be viewed as the “ability to access” and benefit from some system or entity. The concept focuses on enabling access for people with disabilities or enabling access through the use of assistive technology.
Venus Business Academy is committed to providing accessibility and accommodation to the test takers who need it. This accommodation can range from providing a private test room to providing a spacious chair/seat as requested.
